Plantronics/Poly have come up with a cable that converts your phone only CS510, CS520, CS530 or CS540 into a computer headset. So if you currently have a CS500 series headset and switch to VOIP calling via a softphone interface you don’t need to buy a new headset!

What is Poly? Plantronics + Polycom have merged to create Poly

Unlike the W700 series which allows you to connect to PC and Computer at the same time, This cable will only allow you to connect to one device at a time. When you want to use your CS500 headset with PC you would need to have this APC-76 connected, When connecting to phone you would need the original cable supplied with the headset or your phone ehs/lifter
