Part of the orignal Evolve2 series. If you want big earcups to really help you block out the world, this is your headset! Active Noise Cancelling, fold down microphone boom. Use with PC/Mac via USB dongle and Bluetooth devices such as mobile or tablet (NB not USB deskphones). Dongle type dictates the charging connection for optional stand. What We Love:

+ Fold- away microphone boom. Looks like regular large style headphones when the boom is up
+ Digital Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling in the earcups to block out colleagues/family/neighbours etc. 
+ Better ANC than most as one of the few headsets available with circumnaural (big) earcups –  ie they enclose most of the ear, rather than sitting ON the ear
+ Shorter microphone arm is more discrete or use without the arm down
+ Lower microphone to answer & lift to mute function – so intuitive Busy lights on front and back of earcups – colleagues know when you’re busy 
+ Hard carry case protects your precious cargo
+ Forgot to charge it? No worries, you can charge and use at the same time via the included USB cable

What We Don’t Love:

– Microphone can only be worn on right side (due to fold-away mic) 
– Shorter fold down microphone means sound quality is not as good as some headsets with a longer mic & it picks up more backround noise
– Bulky for travel (unless you’re wearing them to roock out of course!)
– Dongle does not work with USB desk phones

The very top end of Jabra’s new Evolve2 series, the Evolve2 85 range are designed to work with PC/Mac and Mobile phone. They connect to a computer or laptop via the included USB dongle (USB-A or USB-C) and directly to your smartphone with Bluetooth They have ACTIVE noise cancelling earcups to help block out background noise for the user.

Jabra have really gone all out on this new series of headsets. They have developed a new ‘chipset’ to support the new features and outstanding audio, the materials used also ensure that the look and feel of the Evolve2s is really high end. Additionally the 85 model has larger earcups with a super-acoustic design to further seal your ears from the world around you and really give that digital hybrid ACTIVE noise cancelling the opportunity really shine.

You won’t want to leave these lovely headphones in the office, you’ll want to enjoy them out and about so the 85s have built the mic to fold into the earcup making it very discrete when not in use. Good idea, Jabra – always nice not to feel like a ninny when wearing top end headphones.

Got a long journey ahead and worried about battery power? Don’t – with up to 37 hours of juice, you’ll probably never even need the 3.5mm jack for your mobile or tablet

The Evolve2 85s don’t just have 1 microphone, they have 10! All designed for your caller to hear you (and you only) in crystal clear HD sound.

Sick of being interrupted when you’re trying to concentrate? Evolve2s have a busy light on the front and back of the earcup, so colleagues in front AND behind can see if you’re on a call (or otherwise busy).

One thing to note is that, because of the curved design of the ear-cup (which gives you that great ergonomic fit to block out distractions) You can only wear the microphone on the right side (your right side).
