The EPOS ADAPT 200 series connect to Laptop/PC via Bluetooth USB dongle (USB-A or C, depending on the variant) and to mobile via Bluetooth (or desk phone if your phone can connect via BT to headsets).   

 

This model is mono (1 ear cushion) version.  It has the smaller USB-C styledongle. (NB The charging cable is standard USB).  Unusually,  all versions of the ADAPT 200s are certified for MS Teams as well as being UC certified.  You can find a full list of certified softphones in the Support tab

Digging a bit deeper

Generally known for their high end headphones and headsets, EPOS are addressing a key market here with a sharply priced Bluetooth headset. All those decades of expertise and premium quality tech in an affordable headset –  what’s not to love?!

We are big fans of the ADAPT 100 series, a well-priced crisp and clear corded USB range of headsets and EPOS have clearly modeled this Bluetooth version on the same look and feel.

The 200 series has patented  EPOS VOICE to deliver a natural sounding conversation and ActiveGard to protect the user from loud noises and acoustic shock.

With an oval shaped slightly larger than average ear cushion, djustable, flexible headband and some light padding for the top of your head, the leightweight ADAPT 200s are made for all day use. The huge bartery life gives you up to 27 hours of use so you only need charge it every few days.

There’s currently no option for a charging stand like other brands.  Not a huge deal and you can always get a sticky hook to hang your headset from if you like an uncluttered desk, or at the end of the day it folds flat and can go away in the carry pouch. Perfectly transportable for the hybrid worker spending some time in the office and some time at home or on the road.
